Smiles and giggles are flooding the building. This organizational tool is meant to help them with organization and managing due dates. Feel free to ask to see their composition book "Homework Log" to review nightly homework. You may wish to keep the parent portal component of seeing Homework a guarded bit of knowledge. If the children know that they can go online to check on homework, they will abandon the responsibility of logging their tasks in their journal and will not be able to successfully pack the needed supplies to take home to complete tasks.
