Donations are a rich blessing! This week, we received a LARGE donation from our Amazon "Reoccurring Needs" wish list. This plentiful donation helped us to stock our cabinets with much needed school supplies for the year. Praises for answered prayers.
If you're unfamiliar, we have two wish lists on Amazon. The first list is for those "Reoccurring" items we run through during the course of learning. Items on this list include pencils, markers, paper, folders, etc.
The second list we have on Amazon highlights those one-time purchase needs the school has. On this list you'll see books we'd like to use as part of our reading curriculum, supplemental texts for teaching and more. Currently our 2 most desired items are a laptop recharging station and an electronic response system. The electronic response system, sometimes referred to as a 'clicker system' ,is used to increase student interest, engagement and ultimately their learning. Each child is given a device that resembles an electronic 'clicker' in which they can respond to the posed question. The classroom teacher has immediate feedback on students' understanding and can immediately correct misinformation or move forward.
You can find a link to both of these Amazon wish lists from this page. Simply go to the "More" Tab and you'll see the "Wish Lists" tab from there.
Your support and donation of our fundraising efforts is a BIG assist to us in purchasing items from the wish lists, as well. Look under the "Fundraising" tab to learn of the different ways you can support Seamark School's fundraising.
